You are looking for an intricate baseball league that you can really get involved with. We are starting such a league. We will have 16 teams (we already have 12) and is kind of an H2H/Rotisserie style league. We do not rank catagories, but each week you will score points based on performance of your team. You will he ranked against 7 other teams and the best points score will receive a perfect 7 - 0 record for the week (next best 6 - 1 an so forth down to 0 -7). In this manner you will play a 161 game season and then we go H2H in the playoffs. Each week stands on its own and so basically you are starting over each week (after you have collected your wins and losses from the previous week). We will have 40 man rosters (23 will be in your lineup) and a separate 25 man minor league team. There will be a salary cap for all teams and your players will have contracts (which will expire, but you can re-sign at a cost) and a salary (based upon what you paid for them at auction).

The cost for the league is $115 for the year, with the $15 going to stat fees and a trophy and the other $100 per team given as prize money at the end of the year. Only the last place teams (4 divisions) get nothing, so 12 of the 16 teams will receive prize money. The first place team will get about $500 (so nobody is getting rich) and each division winner will receive $200 plus whatever they can win in the playoffs.

Anyway, if this league could be of interest to you, please let me know and I will send you the full constitution for you to look at. We hope to get the player auction going soon and we are looking for the last few owners. With our league you do not have to join a league and take over someone else's team. You can assemble your own franchise. Thanks.........John (mailto:leaplemur@aol.com) or Kyle (mailto:Seadonkey6@aol.com). Both are available on AIM
