Where did I go wrong?

Guys like Schilling, hudson, and blalock were taken before abreu. I had 3rd overall pick in a 10-team league. I couldn't believe they passed up abreu, but a lot of those guys finsihed higher than I did, so what do i know?

Your power hitters look really good but everyone else such as Abreu, Roberts, Burnett, Morris, and Buehrle slumped in the second half. My guess is you were near the top before the All-Star Break and started falling off shortly thereafter. Garciaparra's injury certainly didn't help either. You got screwed with your closers. in my experience, theres always the guys you can count on every year, such as Rivera, but theres also the guys who come out of nowhere and it turns into a waiver wire free for all for the new closers. Your offense is confusing, because with Tex, Sexson, ARod, and Pujols you should have won HR, RBI and perhaps R every week. I don't think even with the other guys slumping you would have had a problem with BA and with Pods, Abreu and Tavares, you look like you had a good shot at SB every week too. Your pitchers are much weaker than your hitters and this is where I think you probably lost the most. This is just my guess and I could be wrong.

Pitching.Period. You Spent Too Many Draft Picks On Hitters. I know hitting is important but... you should split it about 75% for Hitting instead of like 90%
