I think it is a little presumptuopus to be so dismissive of KC's run support. Sure they sucked last season, but theyhave said that they are adding payroll. I would bet that while they are still below average next year, they will not be quite so bad.
For Greinke, the bigger concern with the Royals would be the crappy bullpe, but this has a chance to improve too if soem of the young guys continue to develop.
Grienke is definitely on my list of people I will be looking to take a flyer on if the opportunity presents itself.

I wouldn't even look at Greinke in a redraft league but I definitely think he's worth a late shot in a keeper league. I think he has the potential to turn into a Glavine/Radke/Wells type pitcher (but it might take a couple of years).

My god. I never thought I would see the day when Glavine and Radke are mentioned in the same sentence. If Grienke has the potential to put up Glavine numbers then he's a top 10 rounder easy.
But he doesn't, so he isn't.......

I agree. Word has it that he didn't get a long to well with our Pitching Coach Guy Hansen. Well, he is gone now so let's see if adjusts well to our new coach, Bob McClure.

Any thoughts on why they didn't get along? Was it a personality conflict/philosophy conflict?

Yeah I suppose the pitching coach told the hitters when ever Greinke pitches not to score and runs. I don't care if they brought in Mazzone or Stottelmyre. He still pitches for KC. A chance of scenery would be the best thing for that kid.
