I'll call him but it won't be about grammar. If this quote is true, he has some explaining to do. He has been very outspoken in the past about steroids and any "potential" accusations against a bunch of players, Barry included.

now I'll be the first to admit it always bothers me when the SF Chronicle puts in the preverbial "..." in any quote, 'cus it means they left something out on purpose, but I am just quoting the great Hammering Hank!

Thanks for the link. I am surprised, though, as this is very different than what he was quoted as saying in the past.

Im suprised as well. I listned to an interview with him back in the mid summer on an Atl. sports radio station and he was really bashing steroid users and some of the guys who had been accused " including Bonds" so to see him quoted as saying this goes against everything he said at that time.
