especially Jones.
Why do they let idiots vote on such an award? The Hank Aaron award should be a legitimate award, since it is for the best hitter in the league.
Let the fans have their own corporate sponsored popularity contest award.

I think the Big Papi pick was a solid pick (though you could just as easily go with ARod) because both of these guys are extremely dangerous as all-around hitters.
On the other hand I don't agree with the Andruw Jones pick in the NL. While he was extremely valuable to his team and should merit strong consideration for the NL MVP I can't see him as the best hitter in the NL this year. I think that that award should go to either Lee or Pujols. Both of them hit over 330 while Jones only hit 262.

Just curious why you see nothing wrong with Jones winning?
Pujols created 153 runs in 700 PA
Jones created 113 runs in 672PA
Pujols created .219 runs per PA
Jones created .168 runs per PA
And DLee actually created more then Pujols.

Apparently not. Just the most popular one.
Nah, then Pujols or Lee would have won, with bigger fanbases. It goes to the one with the most home runs.
