Exactly. I think we'd easily dominate.

my thoughts as well,,,, the US should win,,, but what if they didn't????????????? keep it like it is.... cause it would be a no win situation for MLB
ditto
The NBA does something like this in the pre-season agaisnt other Euro club teams. Are they just stupid? Because if you win, it is expected and not a big deal, but if you lose, the talent level of your league is questioned. It's a no-win situation, but the NBA still does it. The Raptors lost last week to some Euro team, and it only embarrases the organization and the league. But if you win, nobody in North America will even care. So why do it?
Major League Baseball would never do something like this, probably because they aren't as stupid as the NBA. Why do something that can only result in a no-win situation? Ask the NBA...

Unless of course you lose. That would hurt MLB big time. MLB has everything to lose in this.

That'd be pretty funny if they did that and AAA won, although I have heard that AA ball is more competitive than AAA. I think the reasoning was because there's more up and coming players in AA, compared to AAA where there are a bunch of older, washed up players looking for a job mixed in with the younger guys. I'm not sure if this holds any truth, but it seems logical.

I don't think it's more competitive, but it's definitely more exciting and the players that go through AA for a longer period have higher potential (they usually only stop by AAA briefly). The level of AAA is higher, though, IMO, as the wily vets still know how to play baseball, although they're just short of Major League abilities.

i think your all being rediculous... why do you want MLB to be cowards?? ,, to me, that makes MLB look worse then losing would
i think MLB has alot to gain .. how about doing it for the love of competition?
we send a team of All Stars over there ever year and play them in the winter ... nobody wears a Red Sox or Yankees logo, so the games aren't televised over here, and there fore nobody cares ..
but the point is ... we already play them ....
I'll see if I can't dig up some past records, a little later ...

But isn't that more an exhibition?
What Valentine wants I think is to have the World Series champs from here, play the champs over there... You can see why MLB wouldn't want to do something like that.

we send all stars ... isn't that an even better overall talent pool than the WS winners? and If I remember correctly, we don't always win ... It would be huge mud in the face of MLB if we sent the WS champs over there and they got swept ...
