Bobby Valentine wants a US/Japan championship series

MLB won't do it cause they have everything to lose. Most people already assume that MLB is better baseball. So if they lose they lose credibility, if they win then so what it was expected.

Exactly. Plus, the Japanese really play a very different style of baseball than MLB.

There's no incentive for MLB besides making a ton of money. Why shouldn't they see what they are up against? Is it better to just stick their heads in the sand? A little competition could do nothing except improve the game.
