What is MFT usage mean on a computer?

I got diskeeper and it says that my MFT usage is at 88 percent and that I should adjust my MFT settings.

What is this?

MFT


this stands for Master File Table. it is a part of the NTFS file system.

Remember we were talking about how when you delete a file, Windows marks it "free" but it's not actually gone from the hard drive? That's because it's on the MFT... and files there are waiting to be overwritten by the system.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....

I think you can disable that in the Registry or maybee not.
