Texas #1 on BCS

Postby ironman » Mon Oct 24, 2005 4:04 pm

Are you kidding me? What a load of garbage. I by no means am a USC supporter but there is no way the Longhorns should be leapfrogging them like this.

Is it because Texas whooped up on an absurdly overrated Texas Tech team? Who did TT play before Texas? Lets see there was...

Florida International (Doormat)
Sam Houston State (I-AA)
Indiana State (I-AA)
Kansas (Big 12 Doormat)
Nebraska (Not exactly the Huskers of old)
Kansas State

The Big 12 is weak this year and it will be a real shame if Texas gets a title shot because of the cupcake schedule they have, because they will get trounced by USC.

it's mainly because the longhorns have faced teams with a better winning record (above .500) where as usc has faced teams that are below .500 on the season. they said if both remain undefested in the last couple games usc will most likely get back into first place.

USC needs to be #1 until they are dethroned. They haven't lost in what, 28 games? 29?

dont matter who #1 is, just matters who #1 and #2 are.... and the texas tech win probably gave texas a few extra points for sure...

I can't see how USC lost number 1... until they lose they are the best and no one needs computers to see that..
