When will we start the mock drafts?

Im looking forward to being a mock drafter this year.

We are currently looking to start one quite soon. Its filling up fast, the thread is currently toward the top of the baseball leftovers board. Its going to be a slow auction mock based through a forum. Probably have 14 owners and we'll try and base it with the "keeper" aspect in mind since most auctions are keeper leagues. If interested, reply to the appropriate thread.

I said it in another thread, and I'll say it again, but doing a mock draft now due to so many variables (free agents being the biggest one) is about as worthless as using Yahoo rankings to draft.

We are getting one together now just for the sheer enjoyment of the experience, it really wont mean much once real drafts begin. Never too early to do mocks for enjoyment but they start becoming useful in january on.

I'm in. I was asking about mocks the day after the season ended. I really want to do a draft though, not an auction.

I agree with Madison, mostly, as it really is too early for them to have any practical value.

That said, I also agree with Steamers, which is why I am going to partake in the mock auction draft in the upcoming weeks. I don't see it as having any practical value, but I steal find it enjoyable to see what kind of team I can build.
