Ughh, that lefty glitch two years ago was incredibly annoying. You would have these great sluggers who were lucky for it to bounce off the wall. :-°

Sega was the one that originally started making the World Series 2K series on Xbox. I liked those. Then Sega switched to the whole ESPN sports games that sold for $19.99. ESPN NFL 2K5 isn't bad and neither is College Hoops but ESPN Baseball 2K4 was worse than WS2K3. Then this last year MLB 2K5 came out made by a company called 2K Sports. All affiliation with Sega seems to be gone. This game straight up blows. Now that 2K sports has cornered the MLB market the rumor was that they thought they would be able to bring in MVP developers that would jump ship from EA but that hasn't been the case. Either way I expect MLB 2K6 to suck major a**.

What I'm hoping for is a rebirth of the baseball games that had fictional teams and players. How cool would it be if someone would create a game like Baseball Stars for the NES but for today's platforms? Think about the possibilities? Who wouldn't play a game where you could create all the teams and players and had endless possibilities for customization. Plus if the game was able to be played online how awesome would it be to take a team you developed and pit it against other created teams from all over. Who wouldn't play that?

I love getting MLB Video Games.

Mainly because I like to be the Giants and have a left fielder with a name like Dorkface McGee.

does any of the games mentioned have a coach mode where you can basically just watch your team and call the plays, etc?
