Johnson is solid. But you would want more than solid from a 1B. The home park isn't encouraging either.
Kotchman's dual eligibility is a plus. Could be plugged into 3B. His numbers at that spot would look more encouraging.
Not sure why you like Shelton because of his park. From what I can gather it's a less than average hitting park. Also not sure why you think Kotchman played 3B, according to Yahoo! he didn't even play 1 game there last year.
Anyways for next year I like Johnson the best as I'm not sure how much PT Kotchman will have. But from then after I'd take Kotchman. He'll likely never hit 40HR but I can see him developing 30HR power which puts him above the likes of Sean Casey.
