Almost everything I have read says the WS is a toss-up. Maybe it is my NL bias but I'm not giving the ChiSox much of a chance.
Houston has the better SP, bullpen and defense. The lineups seems pretty even to me.
From the Houston side, Pettitte actually shuts down righties (better than lefties and) better than Oswalt goes regularly, and Chicago's big bashers are righties. Though Oswalt has had an incredible post season. It'll be tough for the ChiSox to get it going against Astros pitching big 3, but 4 complete games in a row means something.
Interesting, the Cards (#1), Astros (#2), and ChiSox (#4) were in the top 4 in ERA throughout the season.
It should definitely be a series for big, timely hits and for heroes to arise in a pitching-intensive duel.
