Yet another stat question

Postby pgbridge2000 » Wed Oct 19, 2005 8:39 pm

I was wondering if anyone happens to have stat lines for players who have played the past 3+ years in like an excel spreadsheet with each player taking up a single line, with his years just extending further along that line. I haven't figured out a good way to combine multi-year statistics except to do it for each player and I haven't found a database that contains stats like that.
There are 3 ways to do things, the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!

Lahman database is free but it doesn't include the 2005 data yet. The new database probably won't be available until the end of November but Baseball Reference should have the new data available after the World Series.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
