I watched Brian Roberts through most of the season. He was absoultely amazing in the first half which goes without saying although he fell apart in the second half. He has great talent for a second basemen and was a quality pick last year just for his stolen bases. In many of the second basemen rankings (very early), I see him around the 4-5 mark. This would put his value around round 6-7. Am I wrong here? His injury may make his value drop further, but Id love to see what others think of this guy and his value for 2006.

He's like Beltre except only did this for half a season. Nothing suggested that he would breakout like that. Trust me, he's a fluke and he'll go too early most likely, any smart owner should not have him on their team unless he somehow drops past say the 15th round....which he won't.
he was a guy i targeted in alot of drafts this past year, but he will be a guy that will be nowhere near my team this year, especially if he goes in the top 10 rounds which i imagine he will.....

Hardly. ARam and Harden were both hurt. I was in 5th (12 team league) with no hope of winning. The other guy was in 2nd in a tight race trying to catch the first place team and needed healthy help. I made him pay for that help longterm. He still finished 2nd by the way and I still managed to finsh 5th (not that it mattered any).
Roberts is a guy who everyone knows will be overvalued and will avoid him early, but then take him as trendy pick in the 7-9 rounds. He won't live up to that. It'd be wise to not put too much weight in this past year when thinking of drafting him next year.
