Off-season wishlist: Esteban Loaiza or Paul Byrd(Millwood won't come to KC, I'm not even gonna dream that. Lima is probably done), Erubiel Durazo(we need another bat next to Sweeney, Stairs is not the answer), Jacques Jones, Byung-Hyun Kim(he'll be cheap and who's the Royals' 2nd best RH RP? Burgos? Throw him into the closer mix. This move is highly unlikely)
Maybe take a chance on a SP that will come cheap and has great stuff: Brett Tomko. He's a bit old but I watched him last summer in SF and he's got a great fastball and a more than serviceable slider. Great, great stuff. He just need more control on his curve and fastball. I would only want him if he comes cheap enough, he was the Giants' best pitcher the last month of the regular season(10-3 after the DL stint for the Giants). But he is what? 33? Maybe a 1 year contract like Lima.
Opening day lineup.
1B Sweeney
2B Gotay
3B Teahen
SS Berroa
LF Terrence Long/Emil Brown
CF David Dejesus
RF Jacques Jones
DH Erubiel Durazo
Bench: Matt Stairs, Alberto Castillo...
SP: Zack Greinke, Esteban Loaiza, Runelvys Hernandez, Brett Tomko, Denny Bautista/Brian Anderson/J.P. Howell fight for the last rotation spot
RP: Mike MacDougal(closer), Byung-Hyun Kim(SU), Jeremy Affeldt(SU), Ambiorix Burgos, Andrew Sisco, D.J. Carrasco, Mike Wood.
I would prefer to see them trade Anderson.
Leo Nunez should never see the big league again

I can only wish, right? Royals opening day lineup won't be anything close to this. Another 100 L season coming
