That's a great point Rynman and it's the reason that I only see him as a fourth starter in my league. In a points league where you get pts for the innings your pitchers throw, he isn't nearly as valuable as some similar pitchers because his pitches/inning are so high.

before 2005 started, i projected zito for
14 wins
3.65 ERA
1.20 whip
180 k's
he pretty much did exactly what i expected.
I think in 2006, the A's will make the playoffs as long as all of their starters stay healthy (HARDEN)
Zito should post similar numbers in 2006

the a's will probably add 1 bat to the lineup since durazo and dotel are pretty much gone and their salaries.
