Not really asking anyone to break out a ranking or list (but if you want to go ahead and feel free) but off the top of your heads, would you say the 1B crop or 3B crop will be deeper for drafts next season? Thanks.
1B should be much deeper though the addition of MCabs and the emergence of David Wright should make it much closer than it has been in the past. You cant really get past studs such as Pujols, Teixera, DLee, Ortiz (if considered a 1B in your league), Helton, Hafner (like Ortiz), and more. 3B is pretty deep with ARod, MCab, Wright, ARam, etc but you cant beat having 4 top 5 players (in 05') at one position, 1B.

I gotta agree with the majority, 1B is deeper, has been deeper, and most likely will be deeper for years to come. 1B tends to be one of the least demanding positions, i.e., easiest place for a good hitter, bad fielder to learn to play.

I believe 1st base is much deeper than 3rd. After about the top 10 to 11 guys at 3rd there isnt alot left to choose from and some of those I wouldnt want to have to rely on.
There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
