Yeah, Miami is great at producing players.
I'll give Andre Johnson, DJ Williams, Jonathon Vilma, and Willis McGahee; they are good. But having as many first round picks go south as they have isn't a very good thing. Taylor is a criminal, Winslow is a tool, Mcdougle has been hurt both seasons and only has 2 sacks, Carey has only started 5 games out of a possible 19, William Joseph has only 32 tackles in 3 seasons...the list goes on. Antrel Rolle was drafted in the first this last year so you can't really judge him yet. Portis was the result of the Broncos running system (no touchdowns this season and his YPC is over a yard worse since coming to Washington).
Hold up...Your gonna tell me that Miami doesn't produce players in the NFL...?
Here's a short list......
Willis McGahee
Ray Lewis
Andre Johnson
Jeremey Shockey
Johnathan Vilma
Santana Moss
Warren Sapp
Ed Reed
Vinny Testaverde
Vince Wilfork
Duane Starks
Edgerrin James
Reggie Wayne
Phillip Buchanon
DJ Williams
Nick Luchey
Roscoe Parrish
Antrel Rolle
Dan Morgan
Bubba Franks
Bryant McKinnie
William Joseph
Jeff Feagles
Ken Dorsey
Frank Gore
Damione Lewis
Clinton Portis
Sean Taylor
Kenard Lang
Jarrett Payton
I can't say that's too bad...
Does 30 active players from one University qualify for stocking the NFL?
