Yeh, I wrote it so I take full blame/credit.
I wasn't blaming you. I was just surprised. Not many original writers here.
Thanx - at my old job I was known for producing bizarre memo's purporting to be real (and some genuine ones too). I'm actually working on a non-fiction book now about an unsolved homicide from 1933 and one of the Canadian TV networks has expressed an interest in doing a documentary on it (which would obviously be a big boon to book sales).
Still holds the MLB record for Grand Slams with 23

I give you credit.
Not because I found it funny, but because I think someone like Martin really could get the Yankees back on track. Unfortunately, I'm unsure of a current manager who could do that . Martin was a unique individual.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I think that the next Yankee manager will either be Mattingly or Pineilla, for what it's worth.

Pineilla has become a joke in my mind, so if he goes to the Yankees, I'd say they are doomed.
Mattingly would be interesting, but I'm not sure he has the stones to shut down all the egos, and make them play ball......

I don't think that Mattingly is ready now or even close to it at this point. I also think that George wouldn't be happy because he's have another Torre on his hands in the sense that he wouldn't be able to fire him at will like in the past. Ultimately, he could, but it would be PR suicide.
