How to you determine the draft order?

Postby BravesGuy » Fri Oct 14, 2005 6:23 pm

What is the best way to come up with a random draft order? May sound like an easy question, but I cant think of a simple way and Im sure you guys know how...

Write numbers on X number of pickles slices (X = number of owners in league), and assign a number to each team. Then, a la Billy Madison, throw them against a pane of glass. First to the bottom gets first pick, and so on.

Seriously, names out of a hat. That's the only way I've ever done it.
Is there anything fluffier than a cloud?
If there is, I don't want to know about it.

Yeah, I guess we'll just have to trust the commish if he does it that way!

If these are returning teams, you should not use random order. You should use reverse order. Last place team gets first pick and first place gets last pick. You should also use the snake draft, so that it is reasonably even. If this is the first year, I like the throwing pickle slice option.
The glass is neither half full nor half empty... It is simply a glass

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
