What you guys think about him next year? Where in the draft would he go? Top 3 rounds for sure right? A Player on a good offensive team that steal lots of bases and you can plug in all over the infield.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
Slomo took him at the end of the 4th round in our 14 team keeper. So, I could definitely see the 3rd round as a possibility, though I think in most leagues it will be around the 5th.
I would expect his numbers to be virtually the same across the board for next year except maybe 55ish SB. I don't like to predict anyone for more than 55-60 SB in a year unless they have done it for a couple years in a row.
With that being said 100+ runs, 55+ SB with a .290+ avg and eligible for a few different positions (2B,3B,OF) is 3rd rd material depending on what your first couple of picks were.
I think he can develop 10-15 HR power. After watching him the past few years he has some pop and I think he really works on adding strength in the offseason. I would not be suprised to see him hit more than 10HR next season.
I would think that he would merit a 3rd round selection. He'll be lovely in SB's and Runs and won't hurt you in avg. The fact he can multiple positions is just icing on the cake.
I think people will overpay for his speed. While there is a chance that he can top his 05 numbers, I just don't believe he will improve that much to warrant where he will be drafted.
He was a bargain in 04, 05 but I doubt he will be in 06. Pass.

I like Chone in the 4th round of a 12 team league next year. Position eligibility is nice and he'll put up 50+ sb next year to go with 10 hr, 60 rbi, a .290 avg and 100+ runs.

That said, I can still see him being a 3rd round pick, although I think 3b and 2b will be much deeper next year than in years' past.
3b is not deep IMO... the talent drops off fast. And a few of the 3b are eligible at other positions like MCab, Figgy, and Cantu
Lots of guys are losing 3b eligibility next year as well like Felipe Lopez, Tracy, Huff... if you don't take a 3b early you are going to have to rely on a Beltre or injured Chipper to produce for you next year if you wait too long in a 12 team league.
