Some actual big one's on there. Furcal is one, but not really sure it matters where he plays, he'll be useful in any stadium. I wouldn't call Damon a big free-agent, simply because i don't think he's leaving Boston. If a FA isn't leaving their home stadium, doesn't really have much of an impact.
Some notables: Burnett, Clemens (Will he get a contract and be around?), Billy Wagner, Brian Giles (Big one, if he leaves SD huge value jump), Trevor Hoffman, Matt Morris, Preston Wilson... probably others, but these were the guys that jumped out when I checked the list.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

If Damon really wants the big five year deal his latest comments suggest, I think he's outta here.

Look for the Cubs to go after Furcal, I really cant see why they wouldnt. Brian Giles would be stupid to stay in San Diego. His numbers would take a large jump in almost any other park. It would benefit him to sign a one year contract with a team like the Cubs, Yankees, Jays, or Orioles. There are a few middle to big name players in the free agent pool but SP's are down which should lead to alot of overpaying.

The Cubs HAVE to go after Furcal. That's as good of a fit as Delgado to Florida was last year. Giles is the one monster power bat on the market this year. I think it's probably better if he goes for the big deal this year while there is that shortage of heavy bats free to sign. I'd love to see him playing for the Braves next year!
