Astros in 7. I am looking forward to this series more than the ALCS.

Smiley will be working his rear-end off again this series.

;-D

That smiley is going to run out of energy if you aren't careful. Do you have a relief smiley warming up just in case?

Cards in 6.

He's well-rested from the sweep, but I have a few standing by in case Smiley #1 looses his groove thing. I hope to not have to use the last two:

I heard the last one was created in honor of the Dinkenger call. ;-)

According to Yahoo, the Cards have this rotation set up,

Game 1 - Carpenter
Game 2 - Mulder
Game 3 - Morris
Game 4 - Carpenter
Game 5 - Mulder
Game 6 - Morris
Game 7 - Carpenter

Is this right? Is LaRussa really going to have his game 4-7 starters all pitch on short rest?

Well, obviously, you can't say what is exactly going to happen. Scenarios will dictate who starts and when. The big "if' right now is Mulder's arm. There's plenty of talk that he will pitch in this series, but that he won't be ready for Game Two.

I hope Suppan gets a start in there somewhere, preferrably in place of Morris. Suppan was much better down the stretch, and one above-average start from Morris isn't going to change my mind on that yet.

Cards in 6. Either way though, I think that the winner of this wins it all.

The more I hear the more it sounds like Mulder probably won't go in game 2. This is just a guess but I think

Game 1 - Carpenter
Game 2 - Morris
Game 3 - Mulder
Game 4 - Suppan
Game 5 - Carp
Game 6 - Morris
Game 7 - Mulder
