what happen to this guy? I'm thinking he ran into 1 wall too many.

I'd like for him to come back but he's been talking out his arse lately.

yeah, I think this one is going the route of Pedro. I don't think Damon will be back and someone will give him the years he wants (again see Pedro). I guess the next question is, who will play CF and who will bat leadoff, I don't think it will be the same person.

The Cubs or Yanks might get involved but I can't see either of them giving him 5 years. I think he will resign with the Sox.

I could easily see him in Chicago or NY at three or four years regardless of the money, but I don't think even the Yankees will give him five. If he does end up getting five, I don't think it will be with a team that is anywhere close to being a contender, though it seems that some teams are starting to wise up to that. :-?

Sould be one of the more interesting stories of the winter though.

Damon is a great player and i would like to see him playing with a red sox uniform on next year, he did well enough this year with that, what was it, 35 game hit streak!! (o)

You know what, screw Damon. He is now the official MHY (Most Hated Yankee), taking that position over from the other 2 primadonnas that will be at the top of NY's order.

Do you have any good reason for calling Jeter a primadonna or is it just because he's the Yankee captain and has 4 rings?
