I doubt the mets go for Furcal. I think they are smart enough to realize that if they did, the front part of the lineup would be too plugged. I am assuming that its Reyes, Beltran, Wright, (manny)/Floyd.

I think that would be the best lineup, if they got furcal to play 2b, it would waste his defensive ability, throwing wise, and would just fill up the front 5 of the lineup. If Manny comes to town, everyones numbers go ;-D ;-D ;-D I will be so happy when that happens. Then my man Beltran is going back to 115- 30 - 100 - 35 - .275.

I think the mets should just go after a 2b regular that will hit bottom of the order and is better than Kaz. I.E... Everyone. :-D

Or maybe the mets will just go to Anderson Hernandez.

Brian Sabean has stated that they will pick up the option on Schmidt.
