Can someone (one of the dozen people who voted for OF, for example) why they prefer just having generic OF spots? I'm curious.
Do you also prefer IF slots over C, 1b, 2b, ss, 3b? What about just simplifying it and making it all utility slots? Heck, why not just give up and play fantasy football if you can't handle a challenge.
I normally play with a LF, RF, and CF because it obviously adds more strategy to the game and makes some players value go up or down but that way bleach mentioned it was actually pretty interesting. I might have to try that sometime.
I prefer OF because if a player plays 14 games at each of the outfield positions he still won't have eligibility if you seperate them. He would if it was just OF (I believe).

Having specific outfield positions is just annoying to me. It complicates things in a trivial way, kind of like having too many scoring categories. I prefer five OF to three though.
CF is a unique position, you can't just stick anybody out there, where as the corner OF spots are pretty much innerchangable.
as was mentioned before, in the H2HWS we use 2 OF and 1 CF, which we will be sticking with. It has just a touch more realism to it.
Definitely LF/CF/RF for me - I like the strategy and added difficulty. That said, I really can't stand MI/CI designations they just make no sense to me. If you want realism, and added depth, just play with more teams.
