Why should Santana go ahead of Manny, Cabrera, and Teix? They've all had monster years. Santana doesn't have a great offense, so there's a chance he won't have loft W totals, which is one of his categories.

I didn't have a stud starter this year, and despite having arod, pujols, tex, and abreu, finished 7th. Santana has been great for 2 years and is still young. That's the reason I'd take him so high. As for wins, he still had 17 this year. If morneau and mauer develop, he'll have plenty of offense to work with.

That doesn't mean that Santana is worth more than any of those guys. That just means that you still have to balance out your team. Your pitching just sucked ;-D

I thought I had it balanced w/ zambrano, burnett, and buehrle. I just didn't have that stud going out there everytime getting me 1-2 runs/night.
