Weve had this thread before, but times have changed.
Is M-cab a first rounder next year?
Heres how I have it
1. Pujols
2. Arod
3. Vlad
4. Soriano
5. Tejada
6. Ortiz
7. Manny
8. Bay
9. Teixera
10. Cabrera
I do now believe he will go in the first round next year.
what do you guys think?

I can only see Bay going in the first round if it is a keeper league. Also, most people around here put Migs directly in front of Tex, instead of the other way around, but they are probably both first-rounders.

Bay will not.
I agree with this. Do you think Bay is a 2nd rounder?

Bay actually outperformed Cabs by $2 according to the site I go by. It all depends if Bay keeps running, then I definitely think he is end of the first/second round material.

Yes, but will Bay be perceived as 1st/2nd round material? If you're playing in a very competitive league maybe, but otherwise you'd be spending a high draft pick on someone you can pick up a couple rounds later.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

You may be right that he'll
produce like a first rounder, but I agree with the idea that in most leagues he won't go quite that high. I think you're probably safe waiting for your second pick. Also, that's a big "IF" about the Pirates' lineup...I see little reason to look for significant improvement there. I don't think I'd project higher numbers for Bay than he received this year. Not there was anything wrong with those...
