Wow 16 seconds away from midnight. Ours was born on 12:15am, and since it was a new day we got to stay an extra day in the hospital as opposed to if she was born before midnight.

That's great! Our "little girl" is three now - it goes by quick. Get a digital camera and take lots of pictures. You'll be happy you did when she's grown.

Remember - don't get discouraged when she has no real use for you in the first say, nine-ten months. Once she gets out of the immobile stage you're going to be VERY important to her.

My daughter teases me that she's mommy's girl, but I know she knows she's mine. We've been really close since she started talking. The first few months - not so much. They don't appreciate the "help." Only Mommy. But then, once they can play with you, it's all about Daddy.
