Guys, we honestly could not have done it with out you, and for that .. A million thanks from all of us.
And on to some results …
Our first ever World Champion goes to .. ..
Little drum roll please ..
Chris8 and his London Knights !!!!
Yes, that is right, The Brits have the first ever H2H title ..
Chris8 dominated the regular season, riding Alex Rodriguez, Chase Utley, Michael Young and Big Papi to a 23-point regular season lead, and the number one seed into the playoffs. Two MVP candidates are always key when dominating a fantasy seasons, no?
Ah , but this is H2H, and you need to win in the playoffs to. After dispatching of the California representative rather easily, he had his hands full with the number two seed, Belgium in the finals. The two-week battle ended fittingly in a tie between the two after Chris8 got the 8 RBI’s needed, and sent the game into the dreaded tie breaker that everybody tends to ignore. In the end, Chris8 held tuff and snuck by with an ERA of 2.940 to 3.870 ..
Big congratulations Chris8 on dominating our first ever H2H season ..
huge props.

All of you guys have earned a ticket to the big dance next season, and get first crack at un-seeding Chris8 and his fellow Brits from the title. It won’t be easy since we will have two chaps from across the pond, and the competition is sure to get stiffer .
Here is an early look at next years 2006 H2HWS lineup ..
UK: Chris8 (winners repeat)
UK: jbuk
Canada: ‘D’
Japan: Daisuke
USA East: Warrick95
USA West: wrveres
Australia: Goldberg
Spain: adamraval
New Zealand: New Zealand Boyz
Belgium: nahkaip
USA Central ?
USA South ?
Again, congratulations …
on to the USA State to State battles ..
Advancing to the Eastern Division next season we have ..
* From New Jersey .. Hoboken Hoods squeaked by in batting average and homeruns (tie) to win over the Westampton Killahs, 6 to 5.
* In New York .. Tweekin Nimrod took his Seaford Nimrods to the first ever title in from the empire state.
* Massachusetts .. JRM4833 guided his Boston Brawlers to a victory, all while getting married and studying for the bar. Way to focus on what really matters, you stud you.
All three of you have earned a trip to the Eastern Division next season and a chance to knock off the mighty Warrick from Virginia. No small task!
Congratulations.
Over in the Western Division ..
* In our beloved president's home state of Texas, Daullaz and the Austin Armageddon wrangled the title from the Texas Rookies, 8 to 4, after the Rookies lead all season.
* In a story that would make Repodesta proud, California's own kingpuckhead lead his first place LA Dodgers to the most dominating final in recent memory, over the Sausalito Cubbets 10 to 1. And believe it or not, 10 -1 makes it seem closer than it actually was.
congrats Daullaz and Puckhead, see you next season in the Western Division. I'll let you look at my trophy, but no touching.
Now without a doubt, our largest representation of players comes from the heartland of America. Apologies for not recognizing this sooner, and giving you all the love that you so rightly desreve. With that in mind, here are your first ever players to gain a seat into the Central Division of the H2HWS.
* In the ultimate underdog story, tballgame's Schaumburg Juicers, despite a losing record has won the Illinois tourney 8 to 3 over Plainfield
* Grabbing his 2nd known cafe title on the season, KolbSaves own Southfield Sparrows ran away with the Michigan title
* in Missouri, Fredbird's Fury took down the Forest Park Sharks, 6 to 4
congratulations you guys.
lastly, I just want to say a big thank you to all of the cafe members that made this a great season. Big props to all of you, and we hope to have you back in 2006, when the competition is guaranteed to get harder.
The list is incomplete, sorry, but I am sure you will recongnize a few..
