It was a very up and down year for my team but I ended up pulling ahead with about two weeks left and never let up. In retrospect my draft was pretty terrible but I was very active on the wire and had patience with Hafner and VMart. Didn't hurt that I drafted DTrain late either! I made a couple of great trades (preseason recieved Wright/Damon/Ford for Blalock/Winn/Hidalgo and midseason recieved Halladay/Harang for Olly Perez/Batista) but the wire work was what propelled me to the top, no doubt. There were more dead teams than I thought there would be, which was disappointing. Hopefully the league will be back next year and better than ever, challenging me for the title!

What's the 411 on what forum this league forms in? Is there some sort of feats of strength involved to determine who gets in? I won my 2 leagues this year and I could use a challenge.
I think it would be great to have you in next year and cut some of the dead weight (LBJ, Cornbread, Erboes, and Bloody Nipples were all way under innings or games played marks and appeared to have abandoned ship at some point).

And awful nice to see a couple of people who were blasting my opinions during ST ending up in the 2nd division. Just goes to show that those who think they know everything really don't.
But, again, congrats to Kolb in what looks like a nice victory in a challenging league. I will ask, though, how you could end up with ties in average categories (ERA, avg. and WHIP)? Why not go a couple more decimal places and see the true standings in those categories.

Unfortunately that's not an option in Yahoo leagues to my knowledge.
