With Contreras and Oswalt out indefinately, I'm feeling the need for another starter. Should I drop Marte for a starter, or someone else.

if you need whip and era, but not for saves. i think he is 3rd for the chisox's closer role. Koch-Gordon being the first. look for nelson or valverde.

Since when is Oswalt out indefinitely? He's supposed to miss one more start and be ready to go when he gets off the DL on the 27th. The groin will still be a nagging problem, but he is certainly not "out indefinitely"

I've seen posts on this very website that say injuries like this linger and could be on again, off again the whole year. And, I've heard talk about surgery needed after the season, all of which doesn't give me a good feel about Oswalt in general. I'm not going to drop him or do something drastic, but I'm not confident he's going to be the stud I thought he was when I drafted him.

I'd drop Marte and pick up Franklin. Koch has an era somewhere around 1.15 for his last 10 games. Seems to have figured it out, which makes Marte worthless. Franklin has pitched well and Seattle will provide run support.

Keep Marte or not? Make your decision on what his ERA and WHIP and K ratios will do for you because he won't be getting saves. The closer situation is no longer up for grabs as Koch has laid down the gavel.

Marte is practically worthless. He doesn't get you any wins or saves. The only thing he can give you is a fairly low ERA a decent whip and an occasional K. So, drop him and pick up Franklin.

I would grab Seo and CC, and drop Marte and Donnelly.
