Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

;-D Is Red Stripe a good beer? I saw it in the supermarket the other day but went with Guiness and Pete's Wicked Ale Strawberry Blonde.

It's one of my fav rich thick beers. I don't drink it as much as you'd think based on my handle being the name of the beer but it's still one my favs. It's much better than Guiness IMO, a little sweeter of a taste. And unfortunately I have never tried Pete's Wicked Ale Strawberry Blonde.

Red Stripe is a lager. Wouldn't exactly call it thick. It's an extremely light, American-style lager (yellow). Opinions aside it can't even be compared to Guinness because Guinness is a stout. The lager is called Harp. I consider Guinness to be the nectar of the gods. :-)

Regular Pete's is a pretty good ale, a little on the sweet side for me. Strawberry Blonde is a fruit beer. Some people like them but personally I can't stand them. :-P

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
