What do you guys think will happen to Mike Piazza next year? I know he wont be with the Mets. My guess is he will be a DH in the american league or just retire.
I have him on my keeper team and was wondering if I should hold on to him.

I definitely don't think he'll retire. Listening to him speak all of last season and especially toward the end he did not sound like some one on the verge of retiring. I'm pretty sure he'll end up in the AL DHing for someone.
EDIT: Oops. Just realized this post was 2 months old.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

GM Bill Stoneman has informed the agent for Mike Piazza that the Angels are not interested right now.
The Twins and A's may be among the top suitors for Piazza. Also, there are believed to be some NL teams looking at him as a catcher. Dec. 4 - 11:14 pm et

Mike Piazza should do alright this season with the Padres and for the team to have Mike there helps out a lot. Being that Mike is getting older I would expect him to play catcher once in a while but mainly most of his games at 1B.
