The incredible Houston pitching will push this series to the brink of the 7th game, but 3 incredible pitching performances from Randy Johnson, coupled with the gritty Yankee lineup, will be enough to overcome the 'Stros.
Who would have thought that.
I thought he was going to pick Boston to win it for sure!

And you aren't going to say Boston
Y of Course.
And Bro, It is bet time between me and you. Lemme know if you're game
I'm not going to make all the predictions. I'll just say that Pujols, Reggie, and Larry are all hot, hot, hot hitting the playoffs. The part that scares me the most right now is Matt Morris. He's going to pitch third, and he shouldn't. Suppan should pitch 3rd.
I think the Cards and Astros play to go the Series.
Also, I think the Yanks and Red Sox have way too many holes in their teams for both of them to win their series. One of them will go down, and without a prolonged offensive burst, I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them miss out on the Series.
This series might even be better than the one we had last year. I think which ever duo between Sheff/A-Rod and Manny/Ortiz plays the best wins this one. I have to say that I think the latter will perform just a tad better. With the final game being in NY I think Mo comes out to close the game in the 9th with the Yanks up 5-4 with Renteria, Ortiz and Manny due up. Mo retires Renteria and then Walks Ortiz. Then Manny comes up with the game winning hr over big Mo.
NLDS
Cards over Padres in 5
Stros over Braves in 3
NLCS
Stros over Cards in 6
Well, I just don't think any team in the NL has big enough bats to match up with the aces on the astros. Pretty good series but The Rocket, Oswalt and Pettite 3-some is just too good while the Cards are not at full strength with Rolen being gone the whole season.
WS
Red Sox over Astros
I'm not even real confident that the Red Sox can handle Clemens, Oswalt & Pettite. (But, I won't go against my Red Sox) The Astros are looking really good right now. If they can average about 5 runs in the Postseason they will be very hard to beat, imo. If for some chance they don't make it out of the NL I don't any team can hang with the Sox or Yankees. I don't even think that a team other than the astros could hang with the Angles.

Yet somehow we're 11-5 against them over the season.
If there is a god, The Angels will pummel the Yanks. I am so sick and tired of the store bought pennants the Yankees continue to purchase! Angels in 4 PLEASE!
Boston will beat the Chisox 4 games
Cards will beat the Padres 3 games
Braves will beat Houston 5 games
Boston will beat the Angels 6 games
Cards will beat the Braves 6 games
