I wouldn't buy a Nano if I was gonna buy an Ipod, because I simply think it's stupid to buy a 4 gig player for $250 when I can get 20 gigs for $300 (flash drive is more expensive than a hard drive). However, if size is really an issue for you, then go for the Nano. Otherwise, I hear that a new Ipod is dropping on October 12th. It could be an updated Ipod (5G) or a Video Ipod.

Just get the regular old ipod...white, no color screen 20GB...i got one last march....i use it all the time...and it is so simple to use...the button layout imo is perfect...the click wheel is ingenious...thats my 2 cents

If you do get the 20gb ipod then get the color since its the only one you can get now.

Nano is a flash player. Flash players are much sturdier than hard drive players. At 4 gigs, the Nano has the biggest capacity of any flash player on the market. The small size is just a bonus.

My sister just got the Nano. That this is just too small for me. Now my girlfriend wants one. I'm perfectly fine with the regular sized I-Pod's, and I actually think that the size of the Nano is a turnoff. I'm probably the only one.
