if you want to be like everyone else go with ipod, but if you want quality go with the iriver (better sound quality, they play other formats and more sturdy).

I love my creative...listening to it right now...but if u wanna work out with it u want a flash player, nto a hard drive. A hard drive player can get messed up if u exercise with it. Flash layers include IPod Shuffle, Creative Micro,a nd many more (usually 1 GB or under).

I have the 20gb and shuffle and the shuffle is awesome. It's $100 bucks which isnt bad and way worth it, if you are looking for a gym mate.

It's awesome sound too. I don't get your hatred for it. Probably apples best iPod IMO.

There's no way to see what song you're playing which is just stupid. Why buy a cheap piece of plastic which only plays songs randomly, when you can buy something else for around the same price that actually has a screen. I really think that only reason the shuffle was released was so that Apple could see whether or not they could sell anything to the public.
