I have prior goin today (Wednesday) and need to spot start someone for thursday... Is it safe to drop Prior, will this be his last start? I know this is kind of a personal question, but I think it'd answer it for others as well..

If you plan to do this with another pitcher, you may want to check the weather first. My opponent dropped Schilling the day he was supposed to pitch and the game got rained out.
Granted, Schilling didn't put up a great outing today, but that may not hold true for everyone.
