What is happening in Florida?!

Talk about a whole team breaking down completely during a playoff race. First Burnett goes off on the coaching staff and gets sent home completely. Then yesterday, Miguel Cabrera was benched for a game for some unspecified diciplinary action. All this while Marlins have pretty much played themselves out of contention after going 2-8 over the past 10 games.

Wasn't it only two weeks ago when they took the first two games against the Astros and looked destined for another wildcard push? What the hell happened? Is everyone OK out their in South Florida? The sky didn't fall did it?

I read that Cabrera arrived 30 minutes before the Braves game. If that's the case, he deserved to be benched.

It's pretty clear McKeon lost the clubhouse... probably a long time ago. You have to blame the GM for this one. They had a chance to turn things around sooner but now it's too late.

There were rumblings that he'd lost the clubhouse a long time ago. I remember hearing around the ASB that he was on the hot seat. I'm surprised they didn't make a move then. Look what happened last time they did that...

Seeing as McKeon probably won't be back next year, who do you think is in the running for the job?

I kinda liked McKeon. But the way players expect to be coddled these days, his days as a manager are over.

Now add to it tonight's game. A 11-1 loss where the pitching matchup was Willis vs the Nat's pen. UGH.
