I'd go with Paul Konerko... Does anyone even realize that he has 39 HRs and 97 RBI?

One more HR and he will have back to back 40 HR seasons.

Second year in a row Konerko gets nailed with the under-appreciated tag.

I'll still go with Jermaine Dye. A couple more 3-run bombs and a steal or two and he will make it to the predicted 2004 Dunn value. That brutally cold start hurt.

Julio Lugo. Last couple of years he's had top 5-8 shortstop stats, but he gets drafted a lot later.

With his great stats, I think Sizemore has been a bit underrated this year as well.

Bay, but I don't really see another 30-30 run...

If we're talking underrated but someone who deserves to be rated there because it's a fluke...Todd Jones.

Cantu's been ridiculous this year, just has a low run total because of that low OBP.

Mike Young, although he's had such a monster year that the word will finally be out. At the start of 2005, he was a 28 year old SS with back to back 200-hit seasons, 20+ HR power, 650+ at-bats, decent speed (12 SB in 2004), and hits in one of the best lineups in baseball in one of the best hitters parks -- and he was BARELY in the top 50 in most Top 100 lists I saw, while Tejada was a lock for top 10 and even top 5.

He's now made another step up in 2005, with improved numbers across the board, including a nice step up in BA and power (although his steals were down).
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

Most definitely Richie Sexson this year, people look at his average and just see that and say "Whoaaa, he ain't that good" but seriously just check out his other stats.

5th in the AL in HR's
5th in the AL in RBI's
4th in the AL in BB's
8th in the AL in OPS
7th in the AL in SLG%

Those aren't bad for a guy that is normally played in the Utility or CI spot on the majority of teams and was taken around the 7th or 8th round in the offseason and even during midseason drafts.

I agree with Dye, also I think Doug Davis is underrated, along with Tony Clark, but this is somewhat of a fluke year for him.
