Who will be the next D-Train/Carpentar

I think they both can repeat what they did this year. D-Train has been a little shaky but he comes out. If the Cardinals can have powerful offense next year when Capenter pitches next year he should be unstopable.

Whether or not a pitcher breaks out is a combination of many factors: offense, confidence, coaching, defense, health, talent, and luck. You can only predict a few of those. One sleeper I've kept my eyes on is Aaron Heilman (is he the Mets closer now?).

I think John Patterson is like what Carpenter was last year. IMO, he's going to be undervalued in the draft next year, and he'll perform very well.

It's very difficult to predict breakouts like Willis and Carpenter.

CC Sabathia was already mentioned. Chris Capuano hasn't been mentioned and I think he's legit.

The obvious name nobody mentioned who really has pure top-5 stud potential at SP: Felix Hernandez.
