I was obessed with baseball cards. I started colleting around '83 and thanks to the perfect storms of the strike, my dealer closing his doors, and me graduating high school and being force to be responsible with my money, I quit. I don't know how many I have excactly, but I would put it in the range of 100,000, all tucked away collecting dust at my parents house, much to their dismay! :-b

Anymore, it used to be a hobby for lots of us, but now it seems to have turned into a buisness. :-t My days of a hard-core collector is long gone, but I still try to go to one big show a year and buy some cards of hot rookies and tuck them away. I'm more of an autograph hound these days. I find it cheaper anyway! :-B

Shit..... I was a baseball card junkie.... One of my Uncle's were too... He gave me all his cards when I was a kid. He loved the fact that I was so devoted to it and how I kept great care of my cards... My cousins ( his sons) did not care for them so he gave them to me... They hate me know because years later they realized what my uncle gave me.... here are some of the cards he had given me and some I have bought over the years.
