Miguel Cabrera left tonight's game in the first inning after fouling a pitch off his left knee.
This brought the Mike Lowell experiment to an end before it began, as Lowell moved back to his natural position and Joe Dillon entered the game at second base. Cabrera is day-to-day with a bruised left knee.
