Looks pretty good. Your closer situation is a little hairy though. Rocky Biddle gets the job done, but allows a rund everytime he's out there. Looper is also not the safest bet for a closer. Otherwise your team looks like it could be cookin up some gas. Especially Dontrelle Willis!

yeah i picked up everett for trade bait, but i'm not sure who i want yet.

someone offered me javy lopez and ichiro for ivan rodriguez and adam dunn. what should i do? it's tempting because i'm a huge ichiro fan and lopez is killer. give me some info.

are you crazy?! ichiro has nothing on dunn. the only thing good on that trade is lopez. but don't give away dunn! ichiro sucks! he doesn't give you the rbi's. i wouldn't do it.

Ummm....I TOTALLY disagree with bball sayin no to the ichiro/lopez for dunn/pudge trade. Ichiro is a MUCH better outfielder than adam dunn. Hes probably gonna hit close to .300 this year, and hes gonna score a gazillion runs because he hits at the top of a potent lineup. Yes, he loses out in the rbi category to dunn, but getting javy lopez (who hits behind friggin sheff and the jones boys) will have PLENTY of opportunities to make up for your missing RBI numbers. Plus, bob boones new experiment in cinci is to have dunn hitting leadoff so his RBI numbers are abouit to plummet too. Plus Ichiro will steal many more bases than dunn, a huge advantage because steals are an easy category to..well, steal.
so to sum up, lopez is having a huge comeback season (he wont keep up the HR pace but the rbis will be ther, unlike pudge who is hitting in a much less potent lineup) and ichiro has a huge advantage on dunn in every category except rbi, and dunns not going to get many more ofthose anyway from now because of hitting leadoff. TAKE THE TRADE!

i did the trade a few days ago... i think my team looks alot better now. who should i try and get for everett? i tried to get smoltz and a hitter, but was turned down twice.

If you are looking for a closer and have the hitting to spare (which it seems you do), I would be happy to get Smoltz alone for Everett.

anyone who would move smoltz for everett straight up is a damn fool. smoltz is a terminator and is 1 of the 4 pitching powers that tower above all this year (gagne, smoltz, halladay & pedro when healthy).

he's worth a whole lot more than everett.
