Manager Jack McKeon is considering using Miguel Cabrera to shortstop, if only in a late-inning spot. Robert Andino is the Marlins' shortstop for now, but Cabrera could return to his natural position in a pinch. ''If the situation comes late in the game where you pinch-hit for [Andino], that could be a possibility,'' McKeon said. Source: Miami Herald

would definitely be sweet,,, but with the marlins only having 12 games left to play,,, it is hard to see mcab getting in the 10 games needed played at SS to become SS eligibile next year
