Will this carry over to next season?

If so, who's the top third baseman in the draft? Interesting.

Are you forgetting about Mr. Arod? It begins and ends with him.

It depends what you league rules are

for 2005 Cabrera has played 20 games at 3rd.

I heard that they may even have him play shortstop some.

Latest News Sep. 18, 2005 - 8:31 am et

Manager Jack McKeon is considering using Miguel Cabrera to shortstop, if only in a late-inning spot.
Robert Andino is the Marlins' shortstop for now, but Cabrera could return to his natural position in a pinch. ''If the situation comes late in the game where you pinch-hit for [Andino], that could be a possibility,'' McKeon said.

that would be sweet if Cabrera could play 3rd, SS, or OF

would definitely be sweet,,, but with the marlins only having 12 games left to play,,, it is hard to see mcab getting in the 10 games needed played at SS to become SS eligibile next year :-/
