where does everyone see Freel's value as a 2B next year (12-15?)? His SBs are invaluable in roto ... and he should have less time on the DL next year with his toe fixed.
I think it will depend on his playing time.
If Freel got full playing time I feel he could be a top 8 2nd basemen. With the limited playing time I figure he'll be getting though with that crowded up Cincinnati field I think he'll be somewhere around 12 or 13.
Crowded infield? Are the Reds keeping Aurilia for next year? Who else can play 2nd... I don't think they will ever let Jimenez play again...So I think Freel will get the playing time...

i dont know if soriano will could be ranked higher than utley next year. if soriano goes to the mets and plays at shea, his home run and rbis will go down, while utley could easily have a break out year and completely tear the cover off the ball. if soriano remains in texas he'll still be the top 2b. you have to wait till the offseason to see.
