What to do with Burnett

The Detroit News (or was it the Free Press) noted this weekend that the Tigers are likely to make a run at Burnett next year as a FA.

That would be better than him landing in the AL East.

Just as long as he ends up in the AL somewhere.

4 years $40 million is about the going rate.

And with no other SP even close to him this FA season, he will likely command more. For some odd reason, I envision the O's ending up with him, plummeting his value in fantasy leagues.

If he went to Petco that would so damn awesome, you know how awesome he'd be. Pretty much any power pitcher like him would do awesome at Petco, pretty much the pitchers Coors field.

I doubt his stats at Petco would be much different than in "Dolphins Stadium"
