He could be saving something else now. Like his toenail clippings.

You know what man, give me a break. I'm not going to get into a shouting match with you are starting going back and forth about whether or not anyone likes me.

I want to know what your problem is.

He hit .274 last year, which is better than some starting catchers. Oh well, I digress.

Yeah, what they got was a warm sack of crap that can suit up in catcher's gear. He's even making Pudge look good.

What's wrong here AT? Sounds like well taken, funny stuff to me ;-D

A lot of people probably don't like you either, but do they waste space and time to say it? Come on, laugh a little. Sounds like you two need a little Private Message time :-b

It will be interesting to see how it works out. The Mets apparently have two players ready to play 2B at the ML level (Hernandez, Keppinger) and still have Matsui. The Keppinger trade gets overshadowed by the Zambrano trade but that one has worked out very well for the Mets. I wouldn't be surprised to see Matsui moved in the off-season (with the Mets eating a majority of the contract).

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Matsui really turned out to be quite the bust.

Lil' Godzilla my ass.

Anyway, looking ahead to next year... Anderson doesn't seem quite ready for big leagues yet, but they're going to have him play winter ball and see. Keppinger could be a great addition.

And Soriano rumors are still circulating. I'd love to see Matsui gone, even with the contract.
