Alex is a real nice short term pickup and has won a spot on the big club, but when everyone's healthy (big IF on this team) he'll likely be a utility player, not an everyday starter (JUST YET). Right now he's getting most of his time at 3B (Hillenbrand) while another callup, Kata, is filling in at 2B (Spivey). They currently have another do everything infielder on DL as well, Counsell, along with a healthy Carlos Baerga to get a game here or there in that crowded infield. Cintron will likely play everynight until these guys are back and somewhat frequently afterwards. He'll hit up near the top of the order as well. His best shot at regular time throughout the season, is if the D-Backs can somehow find someone dumb enough to trade foir Womack. Even then, he and Counsell will likely share the job. Spivey is probably the furthest from returning right now (4-5 weeks I think) and Cintron will likely be the "regular" 2B until then. It's also not totally out of the question that he'll play his way into an even bigger role. He's good at the plate and on the field, Brenley is very impressed with Cintron.
